Great question. The work is in not being attached to Mickey, or anyone or anything else. I don't revere nor am I attached to Mickey. I respect, admire and aspire to what he's done, which is to let go of Mickey. It's the same with what he says about the saints (Jesus, Yogananda et al): we don't respect them as people, we revere them for shedding their egos and reaching the deepest place.
